Job Description Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant Job Summary: The accounting clerk plays a vital role in our business by maintaining financial records and assisting with the general operations of the finance department. Accounts Payable Responsibilities: Matching and vouching Invoices – Matching invoice with proper receiving document and purchase order, obtain proper approval. Enter into Visual system for payment. Processing checks and ACH payment – conducting check runs, and schedule ACH payment. Timely submit checks and ACH for up management sign off. Reconciling vendor accounts – Requesting statement from vendors, reconciling with receipts, working with purchasing, shipping /receiving department to clean up over 90 days open receipts. Support auditing request – provide supporting document in a timely manner for various auditing request. Qualifications: 3 years’ experience in accounts Payable/Receivable environment. Be able to handle large volume invoices. Manufacturing industry experience required, automotive industry experience preferred. Experience with major ERP system preferred. Good communication, organizational, problem solving, decision making, and conflict management skills. Quick learner, ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, detail orientated. Good computer skills, including MS office. Ability to write and speak in professional manner. Knowledge of A/R & A/P office administration and procedures.
