Come join our HR team at NAB as a Payroll Specialist! What you'll be doing: Process organization's bi-weekly payroll and maintain payroll records. Activities include, but are not limited to: distributing and preparing payments, benefits, taxes, and payroll deductions; tracking hours and missed payments; and calculating overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, and bonuses.Handle inquiries and payroll issues from employees and leaders.Interface with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) and leaders to resolve complex payroll issues.Analyze, set-up, maintenance and reconciliation of payroll taxes.Interact with Finance department to reconcile general ledger activity involving research and analysis.Administer 401(k) which includes determining eligibility, processing payroll contributions, and changes, and ensuring compliance with ERISA 404(c) plan regulations.Create and generate ad hoc and standard reports.Work with external accounting firms to provide data and complete periodic audits.Assist in implementing new payroll processes and procedures.Maintain knowledge of federal and state payroll tax and 401(k) regulations. In addition to experience in the tasks above, we also need: Bachelor's degree in related field.Minimum three (3) years payroll experience.Excellent understanding of multi-state payroll taxes and payroll tax law.Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify errors.Strong time management, detail oriented and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.Proficient in Excel and utilizing other office applications/tools. #LI-KH1 At North American Bancard we celebrate diversity and create an inclusive environment for everyone, we are an equal opportunity employer.
