Job Description:/h3:
The Logistics Sales Coordinator will be responsible for the ongoing management of United Road Sales orders. The role will engage directly with the Business Retail Sales team to manage all aspects of the sales orders placed in system as well as to research and assist in any pre:work required to win the business. The Sales Coordinator will manage relationships with accounting, dispatch and carrier management to ensure that all aspects of the order are complete and correct to enable efficient execution.
Summary of essential job functions
:Assist Sales in pricing research including use of Central Dispatch, historical data, terminals and carrier partners when Sales Rep is un:accessible.
:Review new account information in OVISS, Salesforce and submit Credit Requests when required.
:Research and acquire any additional documentation or other information required that is not initially revealed at time of order.
:Manage customer pricing agreements and timing expectations, clarifying when required.
:Review sales orders assigned to them for accurate and complete data in OVISS and Salesforce.
:Work closely with Dispatch to facilitate efficient and cost effective delivery of services.
:Identify and review all orders are on time/accurate and within customer expectations.
:Follow up with appropriate parties to provide sales with accurate up to date information regarding order status via daily reports.
:Escalate follow:up as appropriate with any carrier issues.
:Assist Accounting Department in research and investigation of any invoice discrepancies.
:Identify additional opportunities and referrals in the normal course of their work and bring them to sales attention.
Minimum requirements
:High School Diploma or equivalent, some college in a related field; business, logistics or marketing preferred.
:Extensive experience in a sales environment either in an administrative or account management roll.
Abilities required
:Technical expert in various applications, Microsoft Office suite of products, Salesforce or other CRM/Lead Management Tool and Internet.
:Great communication skills as well as ability to work with others in a team environment.
:Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish relationships with others
:High degree of organizational and multitasking skills.
:Good keyboard skills and impressive telephone etiquette.
:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
:Strong knowledge of sales principles and methods.
