Join our team at Sun Communities and embark on an exciting new opportunity We are looking for an Information Technology Controls Analyst to support SOX compliance, conduct control reviews, and provide administrative support to our IT team.
As an IT Controls Analyst youll support corporate Sarbanes:Oxley (SOX) compliance activities and perform IT control reviews of information systems, platforms and departmental processes. Youll assist with monitoring access to systems, maintain required documentation, and ensure follow:up for any necessary remediation, reporting irregularities or discrepancies to IT management.
:Perform IT control reviews of information systems, platforms, and departmental processes in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy and security.
:Follow:up to ensure remediation of exceptions found through IT Control Reviews or Sarbanes:Oxley (SOX) compliance activities.
:Provide SOX compliance audit information requests to the appropriate IT area, accumulate and review responses, and respond to requestor.
:Perform regular audits of security reports and job logs; resolve and report irregularities or discrepancies to IT management.
:Prepare detailed systems reporting required for SOX compliance.
:Monitor access to systems by user and application usage by creating and reviewing system audit reports.
:Maintain documentation (i.e. procedures, process flows and reporting) required to perform IT controls review activities.
:Determine and recommend improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades to improve efficiency, accuracy and security.
:Maintain departmental policies on the corporate Intranet; coordinate with IT management to ensure material is reviewed on a yearly:basis, updating as needed.
:Prepare and process invoices, working directly with internal team members and external vendors.
:Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Information Technology, as well as other department managers as needed.

:High School Diploma or GED; Bachelors degree, preferred
:Minimum of 3 years administrative experience; prior experience in an IT environment, preferred
:Minimum of 1:2 years quality and/or internal/external auditing experience, preferred
:Working knowledge of personal computers, laptops, mobile devices, and network technology
:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
:Strong organizational, analytical, and problem:solving skills
:General knowledge of audit theory and application
:Advanced computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, help desk software, and Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools
:Knowledge of property management, accounting or asset management, preferred
:Prior experience with Yardi or Enterprise software, preferred
