As an IT Systems and Network Engineer with dedication and self-motivation, you will be able to thrive in a friendly and dynamic atmosphere. We are in search of somebody who will be responsible for the implementation and administration of contact center and office environment technology needs. The Engineer will handle the day-to-day operations relating to servers, networks, vendors, and staff needs while maintaining systems security, availability, and efficiency. The IT Systems and Network Engineer will…· Proactively ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance, security, and capacity of mission critical technological resources· Design, plan, deploy, manage, document, and monitor cloud computing platforms and services, physical and virtual servers, server operating systems (Windows & Linux), networking devices, internet connections, storage environments, databases, software applications, scripts, and updates/patches· Design, plan, deploy, manage, document, and monitor office network segmentation and topology including switches, firewalls, proxy servers, encryption devices, intrusion prevention systems, monitoring devices, and vulnerability management systems· Design, plan, deploy, manage, document, and monitor directory services, group policies, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SFTP, WSUS, and others· Design, implement, manage, document, and monitor server and file data security, accesses, tracking, and backups· Deploy, manage, document, and monitor contact center VoIP telephony systems, phone queues, chat support systems, and email support systems· Provision, document, and manage and users’ physical and system accesses for various on-premise and cloud systems and services· Design, plan, deploy, configure, document, and manage endpoint protections including anti-virus, mobile device management, encryption, and web content filters· Design, plan, configure, document, and manage staff email, spam filtering, and archiving services· Design, plan, implement, document, and manage intranet systems and content· Design, plan, implement, document, and manage disaster recovery procedures, systems, and equipment· Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies· Participate in the design and documentation of information and operational support systems· Ensure asset tracking is accurate and up-to-date· Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI, SOC, and other standards· Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution· Assist with help desk support as needed· Performs troubleshooting as required.
