Essential Responsibilities:
Sales Skills
:Must have a Hunter personality
:Aggressively prospect and generate new relationships and illustrate Sequris value proposition to key decision makers.
:Execute on the sales strategy for Sequris opportunities focused on targeted organizations.
:Position Sequris as a solution to customers long term information security needs.
:Skillfully probe for objections, remove obstacles and eliminate barriers to gain commitment.
:Follow through on all phases of the sales cycle.
:Participate in field marketing including participating in industry organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, OWASP, etc.
:Generate interest and drive client attendance to webinars, training sessions and marketing events.
:Ability to sell intangibles
:Ability to create a picture in the C:levels mind on what an IT security program can look like in their organization
Client Relationships
:Develop solid business relationships at all levels of a target account.
:Understand customers business model, map their organization and identify their unique security needs.
:Actively follow customers business opportunities, industry conditions and competition issues.
:Report any customer needs to Sequris management, including business status and prospects.
Processing and Reporting
:Be diligent about documenting and tracking all activity through CRM, including detailed activity reports, tasks for follow up, lead tracking and probability statistics.
:Efficiently process quotes and purchase orders.
:Provide quantifiable data to management on a weekly basis through sales meetings and scorecard updates
Technical Skills
:Ability to understand and handle consultative approach to selling. Minimally require the help of a Sales Engineer.
:Brainstorm with Sequris team members in consulting and advisory, engineering, pre:sales and management to provide the best solution with people, processes and technology for customers.
:Understands InfoSec control sets for targeted verticals
:MUST HAVE: 5+ years of business:to:business sales experience in a hunter role
:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Marketing or equivalent experience preferred
:Proven record of building a new client base
:Executive level presence with ability to communicate effectively with senior level management
:Experience selling enterprise level solutions B2B
:Proven success in cultivating leads, managing a sales funnel and closing business.
:Passion for the Information Security industry
:Quickly learn and fully comprehend the clients needs and wants, along with technical information
:Proven consultative sales expertise selling services and complex large:scale solutions (applications, consulting, compliance solutions, etc.)
:Strong presentation skills
:Ability to manage multi:task assignments and work independently
:Must live in Michigan, Ohio, Colorado or Arizona
