What??? “The Sultan of Swat” he was a pitcher? Yes, early in his career he could pitch, but he could really hit. He ended up moving to outfielder. Did you know how he got his nickname “Babe?” Jack Dunn was the owner of the minor league Baltimore Orioles he had to become Babes legal guardian because when he signed him he was only 19 years old. His teammates called him “Dunn’s new babe” and the rest is as they call it history! Babe Ruth died back on August 16, 1948 from throat cancer.

Babe’s personal life was rumored to be a hard lifestyle with tobacco, women and booze. That’s enough alone to cause cancer.

But, what if you didn’t have a hard lifestyle like Babe did, how can you help prevent cancer?

Did you know that depending on your age your body is anywhere between 50 to 80 percent water? Water as you know is very important to our overall health. Chemicals can turn up in the water your family drinks. Chemicals such as pesticides, heavy metals and industrial pollutants. What’s more 20% of human lead exposure comes from drinking water. This is where Babe Ruth returning to pitching comes in. Good news is cleaner healthier water is just a pitcher away.
