Job Description:/h3:
Essential Functions:

Able to read and interpret documents such as job instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Completes customer request for quotations and data requests as required.
Submits quotation(s) to customer directly or indirectly for approval.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of companys production and delivery schedules.
Travel as necessary to customer sites.
Attends weekly sales meetings.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Compile weekly sales highlights at the end of every week and submit to management.
Must meet or exceed sales goals with each and every customer.
Commercial management of customer accounts.
Implement acquisition strategy in coordination with the relevant business divisions.
Acquire new business with existing and new customers.
Maintain and develop customer relationships with OEM and Tier 1 customers, including Engineering, Purchasing, SQA and other areas of customer management in order to support new business development while sustaining current business.
Provide timely communication to OEM customer / Tier 1 customers when changes occur which effect customers product or business.
High level of servicing and customer satisfaction for all accounts assigned
Regular customer contact/meetings planned, held and results reported
Timely and accurate quoting activities tracked and reported
Identify customer concerns and work with appropriate departments to address
Assess, communicate and support issues related to delivery and quality
Maintain sales related activity on customer systems and portals
Lead commercial negotiations ensuring maximum achievable gross profit margin (GPM)
Identify new program opportunities
Regular customer interaction to identify new opportunities
Track and maintain current industry practices, product innovations, industry news, trends and events, general industry knowledge
Improve account penetration thru providing competitive solutions to customer needs
Customer expectations and competitive environment analyzed, reported and recommend actions
Obtain target pricing and understand competition strategy
Drive proper and timely reaction to customer feedback
Work closely with other departments to ensure timely completion of customer RFQ activity
Manage and drive the RFQ process
Monthly, quarterly and annual forecast
Consider customer production plans and industry conditions
Consider productivity improvements, new launches and end of production
Maintain focus on safety, quality, productivity, personnel development and overall business profitability.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
