Assistant Manger Benefits:

Staring Rate $13.50/hr with training and experience

Assure compliance with all regulatory areas including drills, safety, health and accessibility inspections, census reports; assist in the maintenance of facility and all property and contents. The Home Manager shall complete facility and vehicle maintenance checklist as mandated. The Home Manager is to report all hazardous or potentially hazardous environmental conditions to the TSCS Administration
Assure the program/home operates within and meets the requirements of all licensing, certification, contractual obligations, or accrediting bodies for which TSCS must comply
Assure the maintenance of the physical environment through enforcement of housekeeping standards; keep the Administration informed of damaged property and other needed repairs on a timely basis
Work cooperatively with the other home managers, and administrative staff and report to management team meetings as mandated
Prepare agenda and minutes for team meetings; promote attendance at team meetings and participation from all team members
Delegate tasks and assignments fairly and appropriately to assure the completion of all administrative responsibilities and the effective functioning of the residential unit; maintain regular contact with appropriate staff regarding delegated duties
Encourage and support team work among all staff members; provide an appropriate balance of education, nurturing and accountability to encourage staff growth and development
Use timely supervision, assist with and complete performance evaluations when mandated and use appropriate discipline to hold staff accountable for meeting standards of behavior performance
Assume primary responsibility for assuring that the administration of prescribed medication is dispensed and stored in a safe and acceptable manner with complete documentation. Assist in such administration when necessary
Perform duties of direct care workers as necessary
Travel to other homes, facilities, etc for trainings, meetings etc., as required
Assure the staff follows the appropriate chain of command in reporting any information related to the organization and its consumers
Communicate with other program staff and outside contacts including clients’ families, case managers, referring workers and support staff
Work closely with persons involved in clients’ treatment plans, establish, monitor and implement activities needed to meet their goals and objectives stated in the plans
Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of program outcomes, team meetings, and the completion and reporting of required reports.


This job requires a high school diploma and 3 years of experience
You must possess a private Drivers license and undergo drug screening
Valid auto insurance for transportation purposes and a good driving record, unless waived at the sole discretion of the TSCS Administration
Must have at least (1) year prior experience providing leadership and supervising direct care workers (interdisciplinary teams preferred) and formal education and/or extensive experience in the human services field
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily to perform the job successfully
Prior experience in residential setting is required
