The Branch Manager performs a variety of professional, administrative, supervisory and public service duties pertaining to the daily and long-term operations of the facility.

Job Requirements
MLS or equivalent from an ALA accredited library school; 3-5 years of library experience, preferably in a public library; experience in project development, implementation and supervision preferred; experience in public speaking; ability to deal effectively with the public in a tactful, courteous manner; excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills; demonstrated competency with informational technology including eMedia, mobile devices, electronic resources, online catalogs, social networking, etc.; demonstrated ability with office productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
