Job Description
We are seeking a high energy, savvy Executive Assistant to provide the critical support necessary for our President and Chief Executive Officer : Alison Orlans. From travel arrangements, high profile meetings to managing Alisons time productively and efficiently, the ideal candidate will possess superior organizational skills to handle a fast paced agenda and work as a team player.
Alison leads a team of eight C suite executives and this position will need to balance and allocate time with her for both strategic and operational discussions to ensure the effective operations of the company, while allowing Alison time to focus on strategy, client relations and business development.
This candidate will have a do what it takes attitude and have the ability to work independently, with a solid balance of being technologically astute combined with professional decorum.
Alison is also engaged in social, political, and entrepreneurial endeavors, and is closely networked with business and social leaders, as such this person must be forward thinking and anticipate the planning of her calendar, and research necessary information to maximize Alisons time in meetings with others. This candidate should be politically astute and have a concierge type mentality to ensure that Alison and Orlans are both presented with the highest level of professionalism.

Education and Experience:
:A Bachelors degree is desired or a combination of education and experience working with C:suite and professional business men and women.
:5+ years of administrative support and/or project management experience, preferably in a family:run or entrepreneurial company with a high degree of customer service.
:Prior experience assisting a business leader. Working for elected officials, business owners, senior partners at law firms/financial institutions would be a plus.
:Hands on experience managing a leader and his/her direct reports, including meetings, travel and employee and client events.
:Highly proficient in Microsoft office tools
:Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations with poise, tact and diplomacy.
:High level of integrity.
:Solid organizational, project management and critical thinking skills, with ability to multi:task and make changes quickly and efficiently.
:Ability to manage a complex and changing schedule including which location Alison is working from and organize meetings and activities ensuring that she has proper notice of all the details on her calendar.
:Schedule and organize all travel arrangements (air, hotel, local transportation and all logistics) both personal and business (including travel agendas, confirming reservations, directions, etc.)
:Maintain a meticulous calendar and keep her informed of key client or employee events, and providing her with advanced information of these events, including details and facts ahead of time.
