Job Description:/h3:
The International Features and Technology Planning Manager will represent International markets feature and technology requirements in the Product Development process (CPCP) from Ideation Phase through Product Launch to support the International sales growth. This position will also ensure that International products requirements (customer wants/needs) are integrated into advanced product targets and product plans.
Additional duties include:
1. Conduct in:depth analysis of technology trends and competitive feature offerings to drive the development of:
:Long:term features and technology strategy for International Regions
features/technology priorities
2. Product Management:
:Work closely with Engineering (Uconnect, Electrical), Platform, Regional Engineering and Product Planning teams to plan and execute
features/technology to meet local market requirements (i.e., connectivity, infotainment, navigation, safety/security)
:Manage IPIs associated with Uconnect and other relevant cross:platform features requirements
:Identify opportunity for innovation, technology localization of products and connected services (including pricing and cost analysis
3. Manage strategic studies to support new product initiatives and market opportunities.
4. Participate in all relevant Product Planning and Platform meetings representing the voice of International. Become a credible source of International markets.
5. Lead the development of business cases to support new product / features/market actions.
6. Support the planning and execution of: International Product Forum (annual), MY Product Plan Freeze (Lockdown) process and IPIs (International Product Initiatives).
7. Supervise two Planning Managers; one responsible for International UConnect Planning and International Features Planning.

Basic Qualifications:
:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or related fields
:7+ years of innovative technology experience that includes: Automotive Infotainment, Automotive Aftermarket, Consumer Electronics and Wireless industry knowledge, product marketing, product planning and strategy roles
:Understanding of Product Planning, Program Management , Product Strategy, Market Research
:Strong understanding of telematics and infotainment services within automotive domains for domestic and international variances
:Understanding of OEM automotive competitive landscape and competitor systems and features
:Understanding of US and global automotive industry, connected vehicles market, wireless technology and Smartphone technologies
:In:depth knowledge of global automotive markets as well as global / regional trade agreements and tariffs
:Chrysler Product Creation Process (CPCP)
:Understanding of Regulatory issues, homologation requirements and the third party ratings
:Strong analytical skills (competitive and market data and consumer research)
:Ability to navigate and data mine the information from HIS Global Insights, JATO, Polk, NCBS (New Car Buyer Study), and Mtab
:Must be able to balance diverse markets requirements and deliver the optimum solution
:Strong communication skills and team player; the position interface with International markets, regional office, vehicle platform team, global engineering, homologation, finance, product strategy, volume/pricing and business development
:Strong presentation skills and PowerPoint
:Ability to travel internationally three to four times / year
