Job Description:/h3:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
xF0B7; General Responsibilities:
o Participate in on:going technical liaison with customer product engineering on necessary part design issues, locate, clamp and transfer areas and tolerance concerns
o Act as technical liaison to customers
manufacturing/industrial engineers in areas of plant layouts, facilities requirements and spare part requirements
o Technical coordination of machine design and approval between customer and Heller
o Provide technical coordination for other Heller divisions providing equipment for this product line, to achieve maximum commonality
o Provide monthly progress reports to customer in Gantt chart form using project management software.
o Maintain other Heller standard project management reporting tools such as open issue lists, meeting minutes and Order Change Requests
o Coordinate fixture /gage locate and clamp points with gaging system/CMM suppliers and advise concerning in:process dimensional gaging requirements
o Order ancillary equipment and coordinate technical interface drawings with equipment suppliers.
o Coordinate machine qualification and acceptance of process and duplicate machines at HUS.
o Coordinate installation and tryout of Heller machines at customer site, meeting machine acceptance and timing requirements
o Budgets
o Project Schedules
o Manpower and resource planning at the site for all ancillary Suppliers
o Coordinate and report out of lessons learned
o Coordination of resources
o Signoff of documents for all equipment
o The ability to travel for extended periods to support Program Launches
Supervisory Responsibilities:
xF0B7; Lead and coordinate project team members
xF0B7; No direct supervisory responsibility
Education and Experience:
xF0B7; Requires at least a Bachelors Degree in a technical field and/or 5 to 10 years of
Program Management experience and responsibilities
xF0B7; Minimum 10 years automotive and machine tool experience.
xF0B7; Applicable PMP certifications, preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

o Ability to read and interpret blueprints
o Microsoft Office Product application capability (specifically Word, Excel, Power
point and Project)
o Thorough understanding of HUS processes: Kickoff (SA.PM.001), Mechanical
Design (EM.PM.001), Electrical Design (EE.PM.001), Material Control
(ML.PM.001), Build (PR.PM.001), Logistics (ML.PM.005), Installation
(PR.PM.002) and OCR (PM.PM.001).

o Lead project team (clarify goals, prioritize tasks, coordinate resources, resolve
