Job Description:/h3:
The Program Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects, meeting customer demands, achieving overall project timing, and meeting financial targets. Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of tooling project within area of assigned responsibility.

Essential Functions:
:Interfaces with the customer to coordinate all aspects of project such as technical studies, mold design, quotations for any scope change, preparation of specifications and technical plans, project timing and mold tryout.
:Reviews mold design and Mold Flow studies for compliance with engineering principles. Company standards, and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
:Directs integration of technical activities and products.
:Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
:Prepares Change Orders, Request for Shipment, Request for Tryout and Mold Performance evaluation.
:Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.
:Ensures all work is performed accurately, efficiently, on:time to schedule, and within budget.
:Evaluate customer designed parts for molding ability and enhanced device function and make recommended changes to improve mold conditions.
:Maintain complete and accurate records of assigned project activities.
:Supports Customer Meetings by providing technical competency in mold and part design.
:Manage and communicate timing of programs.
:Maintain and communicate open issues list for internal and external customers.
:Maintain and manage detailed budgets for each assigned program.
:Maintain a vigilance to identify new potential technologies for the company with respect to mold design.
:Be willing to travel, as required, to support the development and deployment of tooling.
:Provide personal representation at tool try outs.
:Conduct tooling reviews to assure standards and best practices are being employed.
:As leader of the tool development, the Molding Engineer is the primary point of contact for all internal and external communication regarding tooling status.
:Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
:Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other associates within the company.
:Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
:Assists with training project engineers.
:Knowledge of and ability to use computer systems. Windows based and CAD programs.
:Maintains adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
7:30 a.m. : 5:30 p.m., Monday:Friday, core work hours.
Flexible hours to be available
Must be available to work nights and weekends when requested from Supervisor.

Travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience:
:Associates degree (A.A.) in a rel
