Job Description
Rosenberger North America has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who is a self:starter with passion to drive profitable sales growth for the automotive segment of Rosenberger North America. This position reports to the Director of Sales and is located out of Rosenbergers Dearborn, Michigan office.
Job Summary:
This position serves as a primary sales contact for the Rosenberger Automotive customers in North America. The Sales Manager will be in charge of prospecting, sales support and customer base development while managing and working with the sales rep organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
:Responsible for territory growth and diversification within the automotive industry
:Protect current market share and identify key initiatives for the organization to focus upon
:Provide the customer with technical support
:Define and clearly articulate account strategy to leadership
:Develop deep customer and industry relationships with technical influencers and decision makers at key customers
:Achieve sales objectives established for the territory/customer
:Work closely with Rosenberger Product Management Team on customer penetration and support, delivering Rosenbergers value proposition, and contributing to strategy development for differentiated product and technology solutions that will enable sustained growth and industry leadership for Rosenberger in Fakra, HSD, HFM and other high speed applications.
:Attend trade shows in support of companys sales and marketing objectives
:Travel to customer base to promote Rosenberger products
:Report weekly to the Rosenberger management team
:Have a valid passport/VISA and be able to travel both nationally and internationally
:Ability to travel up to 50
Required Qualifications:
:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Business required (Engineering preferred).
:5+ years of experience supporting a sales and marketing environment in Semiconductor, Electronics (Automotive) or similar industry.
:A self:starter and strong team player who can successfully navigate the organization to reach the agreed upon business goals.
:Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence across cross:functional teams and to work effectively with business and technology leaders.
:Strong problem solving skills, good hands:on skills, self:motivated and results:oriented
:Must be an active listener with a technology base who can probe for customer needs and identify gaps in the product line or form ideas from discussions with customers, suppliers and industry professional to introduce to the product mix.
