Sr. System/Business Analyst

Systems / Business Analyst role will be responsible for leading gathering and documenting of business and technical requirements on My Profile and Notify Me projects.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
  • 10 years minimum work related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in one or more of the following; Computer Science,
  • Information Systems Management, Engineering
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions and market experience, as well as the ability to relate these to the organization
  • Knowledge of software development and architectural concepts, principles, and tools
  • Must have demonstrated success leading in a technical team environment.
  • Must be able to play liaison between business and technology to stakeholders and working team members.
  • Must have the ability to self-manage and prioritize work schedule per business needs.
  • Must have strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Must have knowledge of technical integrations (web services, FTP, etc.)
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours to support application launch and production outages as needed.
  • Must have the ability to effectively manage numerous deliverable work streams with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
  • Must have strong teamwork skills and be able to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to manage ambiguity and work effectively with minimal direction and limited information.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must have demonstrated experience successfully scoping, planning and driving business development initiatives in both waterfall and agile management methodologies.
  • Must be proficient in Atlassian tools; JIRA and Confluence wiki
  • Must be proficient in MS Office; Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Access
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Experience working in automotive digital marketing preferred.
  • Experience working in Adobe Experience Manager and/or other Content

Management Systems preferred.
  • Experience in Website development preferred.
  • Experience working in Service oriented architecture preferred.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Structure approach, agenda and facilitate working sessions to clearly define and document problem statement and key business requirements with key stakeholders.
  • Gather, analyze and document requirements; functional, non-functional, data source, use cases, business rules, technical, authoring.
  • Produce visual diagrams: workflow, data-flow, sequence, activity, decision trees.
  • Help troubleshoot website issues and solutions with development and testing teams.
  • Perform system feasibility and functional analysis to enable website designs and ideas.
  • Perform web services analysis, document API and logical requirements needed to support experiences.
  • Analyze and document logical relationships among data, process, or events.
  • Recommend solution approaches to problems based on identified opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors.
  • Conduct studies and discoveries on new applications, migrating applications and new/existing capabilities as prioritized by clients.
  • Provide recommendations on logical approaches to phase out projects based on requirements/system analysis.
  • Able to adapt and work in agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies

Other Responsibilities:
  • Interview key stakeholders to understand problem statement and constraints
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and Visio process flows to support analysis and recommendations
  • Capture documentation within JIRA and Confluence wiki
  • Clearly present requirements to management, development and testing teams
  • Monitor and recommend strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to the company's security and controls compliance program.
  • Special ad-hoc projects for the FordDirect technology team.
