Job Description:/h3:
The Supplier Quality Program Manager is responsible for managing Supplier Quality (SQ) activities associated with future vehicle programs to ensure that all quality and timing obligations for Supplier:provided components are met. The Program Manager will manage all aspects of the Advanced SQ requirements for one, or multiple vehicle program projects, from concept creation through the initial launch of the vehicle(s) within a FCA manufacturing facility. This position will require the individual to work cross:functionally with our SQ Engineers, FCA Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Vehicle Program Management, and supplier personnel. The Program Manager will be responsible for reporting on the guiding SQ metrics supporting the vehicle launch and will present program status updates to various levels of FCA Management, up to and including Industrial team members. The individual will be required to articulate launch risks and mitigating actions to company leadership. He/she will manage containment and corrective actions for new components impacting the vehicle launch. The Program Manager will work directly with Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) to engage their immediate support of quality issues associated with their parts, and will monitor the implementation of permanent corrective actions within the suppliers process via follow:up communication with the SQE and/or supplier representatives.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
:Manage key Supplier Quality metrics associated with new or modified parts, supporting the launch of a new vehicle, Model Year change, or mid:cycle action
:Summarize the status of Supplier Quality PPAP activity, identifying potential risks to the vehicle program, while managing SQE/supplier mitigating actions
:Prepare and present the status of Supplier Quality AQP activity to company and SQ leadership
:Communicate program milestones and other pertinent information to the SQ ranks to ensure awareness and garner the support required to meet program objectives
:Chair meetings with suppliers and/or SQEs to ensure alignment with quality and timing expectations for the program
:Facilitate the scheduling of Executive Reviews at critical supplier manufacturing locations
:Facilitate safe launch strategies and problem resolution reviews
:Actively support early sourcing and supplier selection processes
Basic Qualifications:
:Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET:accredited university
:5 years of related work experience
:Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
:Strong written and verbal communication skills
:Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross:functional team environment
:Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a good working knowledge of the remaining Microsoft Office software
:Practical problem solving ability and results oriented
:An overall interest in a mix of program management and practical hands:on applied manufacturing experience
:Ability to travel to FCA manufacturing and supplier locations within the Greater Detroit and Toledo areas
Preferred Qualifications:
:Masters degree in related Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality disciplines
:Green Belt or Black Belt

:Familiarity with CQMS (Corporate Quality Management System)
:Familiarity with CPCP (Chrysler Product Creation Process)
:Familiarity with the Change Management (CN) Process and associated systems
:Familiarity with the eCIMs/GIMs systems
:Familiarity with WCM tools and guiding principles
:Familiarity with PFS, Broadcast and/or FIS applications; launch support/tracking
