Job Description We are looking for a leasing consultant in one of our properties in Wayne, Mi. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for: Leasing apartments and processing applications. Continued contact with prospective residents via telephone or in person, determining the needs of the prospect Scheduling appointments Demonstrating apartment models and vacant apartment homes, showing community common areas and amenities Conduct follow up with prospects Monitoring advertising effectiveness Completing marketing, leasing and traffic reports. Adherence to all Fair Housing Laws mandatory Must have previous sales or customer service experience in retail, hospitality or multi-family housing, be computer savvy and have working knowledge of Word and Excel. This is a full time position and requires flexibility in a schedule with evening and weekend hours. This is a fast paced environment which requires good communication skills. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. Benefits include participation in a commission program, health and dental benefits, paid time off and paid holidays. Professional dress is required. The Leasing Consultant will report to the Community Manager. Additional duties and responsibilities as required by company or as assigned by manager.
