We are seeking a Process Development Research Engineer to work out of our Wyandotte, MI facility.
Process Development Research Engineer (1704525) : Wyandotte, MI
Formula for Success: You Will...
: Work with the team to plan and implement equipment modifications and improvements to a variety of pilot reactor systems, particularly those used for polyether and graft polyol developments.
: Lead hazard analyses and safety reviews for new and modified processes.
: Ensure P and IDs and other Engineering drawings are updated and verified as needed.
: Work with and provide leadership to Site Engineering, Maintenance, contractors, and technicians to complete equipment modifications as planned.
: Lead efforts to commission new, modified, and previously idled installations. Verify performance of mechanical and instrumentation equipment.
: Maintain, update, and document programming of a variety of control systems and recipe controlled operations, including Allen Bradley and Opto.
: Write and update SOPs and JSAs and process system operating manuals.
: Develop training materials and present process and procedure training to technicians and other engineers.
: Ensure regulatory compliance is achieved in terms of operating permits, as well as PSM and other governmental regulations. Address action items resulting from reviews and audits.
: Review and analyze data to ensure processes are operating as planned. Troubleshoot and correct equipment issues with support from Site Engineering and Maintenance.
