Job Description
The executive pastry chef will be responsible for curating and baking a large array of French pastries and full size cakes. This chef must have experience in their field and impressive artistic skills in terms of pastry taste and aesthetic, and will be expected to produce fresh pastries daily, while curating seasonal and special items for the shoppe. The executive chef will be tasked with not only executing on a preset menu but encouraged to curate his/her own selections.
In this position, the executive chef will be expected to understand forecasting demand, cost and pricing mechanisms for each pastry. He/She must also be willing and able to go above and beyond in catering events.
The executive pastry chef will also need to maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and will be responsible for training sous and prep chefs to assist in the daily pastry making.
The executive chef will act as an ambassador to the brand.
