American Interiors is seeking an organized, proactive and efficient Account Manager. The Account Manager will work closely with assigned Account Executives to manage existing accounts, close new business and assist in fostering and building new relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
*Work with end users, Account Executive and Design team to create quotes, layouts and proposals for existing customers.
*Make phone calls to schedule appointments for new and existing opportunities
*Attend networking events and seek out new business leads for the company
*Assist in preparing presentations and quotes for active projects
*Assist with order entry and checking orders for accuracy
*Assist in coordinating project installation details with Project Manager and Account Executive
*Work as a partner with the assigned Account Executive throughout the entire project process
*Attend meetings with the Account Executive, assist in taking notes, follow up items for client, and execute action items
*Thoroughly understand the products that we offer as well as our competitors products

Basic Qualifications:
*Design, Architectural or Construction background
*Strong marketing and sales capabilities
*Outstanding presentation skills
*Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
*Computer literate (word processing, spreadsheets, project applications)
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to work with mathematical concepts
*Strong organizational skills to remember the important details of each project and scope of work
*Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
*Self:motivated with entrepreneurial nature
*Aptitude with technology and willingness to learn and improve daily
*Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with all members of the project team

Preferred Qualifications:
*Bachelors degree in Interior Design or Sales/Marketing Management preferred
*Computer proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products
*Experience in CAP 2020 and Visual Impressions a plus
*Knowledge of the furniture industry
