Event Co-Ordinators and Promoters Needed

TBR Studios Presents:

The Battle for America
A National Battle of the Bands Event

We are now seeking EVENT Co-Ordinators & Promoters

If you have ever wanted to promote musical events such as concerts or local music shows, this is your chance to learn the ropes and get paid to do it. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a desire to succeed.

We have now completed two annual events in Texas (The Battle for Texas - Houston Regionals). SEE BLOG on www.myspace.com/battleforamerica home page. We are about to roll out into other major Texas cities as well as expand nationwide for the 2010 event. We need co-ordinators to accomplish this. I will personally carry out Texas cities unless I find Co-Ordinators in the other cities such as Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, etc. I think you get the idea!

We need Co-Ordinators in every state to run the 1 Day events in their major home city and you have the option to take your local city event to every major city in your state. This is similar to a street team concept for a band, except you get paid for your efforts and are part of a national event. There are no fees for you to sign up as a co-ordinator and join the project.

I have all the tools (Registration & Waiver Forms, graphics, etc.) & experience you need to make your event work in your city. Both of our events in Houston were started and successfully completed in 30-45 days from the date of event conception. All you need is the will to take on the event and make some cash in the process. ie: If you find a venue for the event in your city by January 1st, your event should be completed by Jan 31st or mid Feb. at the latest. Then you can do it again later in the year or move to another city.

This is perfect for Recording Studio owners, Graphic Artists that work with bands, Music Store owners, full/part time musicians, entrepreneurs and even Club owners. It's a great way to network your business, studio or band and be part of a national event at the same time.

Your function as an Event Co-Ordinator for The Battle for America:

1) Secure Venue and Date of the event
2) Secure local sponsors (Recording Studios, Music Stores, Graphic Artists, etc)
3) Secure Bands to Compete (I'll show you how)
4) Promote the event locally along with competing bands
5) Secure 3 Event Judges (usually from the sponsors)
6) Host Event (emcee) and hand out local awards at completion of the days events.

If you live in Atlanta, for example, your event will be called:
The Battle for Georgia - Atlanta Regionals

Your event will have a MySpace page tied to this Battle for America page. If you own a recording studio, for example, you will have a banner such as mine: "TBR Studios Presents"

I think you get the idea. For more info on how to become an event co-ordinator, contact me by my studio phone, home phone or email below (or this page) anytime days or eves. Ask for "Luckee".

See you in the Battlefield!!!

Thanks,

Luckee

Replyderekdirckson@sbcglobal.net

Please do not contact me if you do not have professional; references that can be checked. DON"T WASTE MY TIME> PLEASE DON"T.

I need a mixing engineer who is totally experienced using all studio effects. I am willing to pay $30.00 per tune to whom ever contacts me and can do the job. When you contact me be sure to include at least some MP3 samples or your website. If you do not include one or the other I will erase your message. I do not want to spend time calling and "talking about your experience" with out samples I CAN HEAR for myself. Don't waste my time. There are ten tunes to be mixed and I will require you to mix one so I can be sure you are who I want. Don't ask me to call you and you have no samples for me to hear.

I own my own studio and have everything necessary for you to do a pro job.

email me at derekdirckson@sbcglobal.net. You can go to: http://musicbuilder.org/profile/noskrid to hear the tunes I want mixed.

You’re a very good songwriter, maybe you’re brilliant. But there’s just one thing: you don’t have the greatest singing voice. Maybe pretty good – just not good enough to really sell the GREAT song you’ve just written.

I am a male demo vocalist with many styles under my belt: Rock, Country, Alternative, Metal, R&B, Standards, surf music…you name it.

I will put that finishing touch on your next song, including just the right vocal arrangement.

I have the ability to record at home and send you the files. Payments can be made by money order or through Paypal if it’s needed.

Go to http://www.myspace.com/jonstathammusic for samples of my work.

Feel free to call as well: (310) 882-1967 Jon

Unsigned?

Are you an unsigned/independent artist with radio friendly songs ready for airplay?
Join this group of artists and get your songs on the RADIO.

It's easy! For an online audition, send us an email with a LINK to your songs.
Our EMAIL ADDRESS is in the lower right corner of the radio site.
The station does not offer downloads but will direct listeners to your homepage.

We promise we'll listen! Sorry, no agents (3rd parties), labels or record companies please.
All genres considered. Make sure we can write you back.

We're looking for quality recordings that are complete and sound like they should be on the RADIO.
Don't send us any files or artwork. You need a website with songs so we can listen. We won't download files.
We don't care if you're famous on MySpac e, FaceBook, how many plays you've got in the past or who you've opened up for. It doesn't matter to us.
If you're an agent (3rd party), a management or record company, don't bother. We won't listen.

This is for artists only.

The record companies, agents and management companies can pay for their own promotion and radio play. We play your songs for FREE.
And, if your song doesn't make it the first time, keep trying.
Songs are screened for offensive language, distortion, length, low volume, "live" kitchen recordings, overall sound quality, etc.
It's all about getting your music out there!

TOTALLY FREE Promo. Help For MySpace Artists

posted: November 8, 2009, 06:35 PM

Replyclick here

... If you have a MySpace page, you know that people who are browsing around are more apt to stop and check out a profile with higher numbers than lower.

Also, If you're also taking the approach of sending out your MS page to prospective managers, promoters, club owners or booking agents etc., the increased numbers will obviously help spark the initial interest in you and leave a far better first impression. (hopefully enough to get them to the next step by pressing the "play" button on your profile player)

Here's an opportunity to give your MySpace page a totally safe little numbers boost and get 200+PLAYS/VIEWS ADDED FREE (if you want less than 200, or added to a particular song, let me know) WITH ABSOLUTELY NO OBLIGATION WHATSOEVER. Once the plays and views are added, they cannot be removed.

Just respond with the band name or MySpace url that you want them applied to and it's done. That's it. Nothing else needed (NO PASSWORD OR USER I.D. NECESSARY) because your page isn't ever entered and no bots or scripting software are used at all. This is totally legit and absolutely safe for your page.

Please don't think this is one of those "sounds too good to be true" or "nothings free" type things. It's true and it's free. I'll show you.

After you receive the free ones, I'll send you one email with some info. on how to get more plays/views in the future if you were interested in perhaps a low-key, believable and discreet ongoing daily "add", or a one time amount to help gain attention to your page. (those wouldn't be free, but almost)
I'm an independent musician myself with experience in different areas of the field, not some software promotions company or anything, and I can really help you help yourself.

Quick note : Once in a while an artist (usually involved only in the performing aspect of the business) will seem a little skeptical or hesitant and think this may be a form of cheating in one way or another. Not at all. You're not taking an exam or in some kind of race or competition against anybody. You're just marketing and hyping yourself a little by raising your numbers because that attracts attention. It's a minor form of promoting yourself, nothing else. People are much more likely stop and check you out if your numbers are higher, which in turn will increase your plays, friends, fans etc. You're only cheating yourself when you pass up easy opportunities that bring attention to you. Just think of it as an extra person helping you hand out a bunch of flyers.

Seeking: Male & Female/Gospel & Rock Singers (Recording Only)

posted: October 29, 2009, 05:53 PM

Hello Fellow Vocalists,

Blues Evolution is recording a second CD, and one of the tunes is a secular but gospel sounding song that is begging for the sound of a large choir. Well, we can’t pull that off, but we can try to simulate a choir by overdubbing a variety of voices singing each part. We would love your involvement.

Our most immediate need is for HIGH SOPRANO. THE HIGHEST NOTE IS HIGH G (an octave plus a 5th above middle C that sits on the space on Top of the treble clef. It is the last note possible that is still connected to the staff before you need ledger lines.) We need someone who can hit most of the notes clustered around High E with confidence, tone and of course accuracy. Finally we want it to have some soul and sound like church.

Although we have lately been focusing on locating a soprano voice, we really need voices in all ranges and with various styles. However, YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO a PROTOOLS compatible computerized home recording software system to participate on this recording.

PLEASE GIVE A LISTEN to our Mp3 DEMO of In The Name of the Father by clicking on the link to that song at our web page at the Indaba Music site:

http://www.indabamusic.com/people/579044191

I hope you will take a stab at it and join us. Unfortunately (considering the number of voices needed) THIS IS NOT A PAYING OPPORTUNITY.

I so look forward to hearing from you and all the best with your musical adventure.

Yes!
