We are a new music production library based in Los Angeles that is building up our catalog. We are currently seeking all possible genres of music for possible placement in Film, Television, and advertising. We have uses for anything from short classical cues to pop, rock, indie, country, hip-hop, experimental electronica, etc... If you are good at it, send it to us for consideration. We do ask that music submitted be of high recording quality and well produced.

We are not a royalty free library. If you are a musician or producer and you own the rights to your music, don't hesitate to contact us with questions about your music, or the submissions procedure.

Event Co-Ordinators & Promoters Needed - ASAP

Event Co-Ordinators and Promoters Needed

TBR Studios Presents:

The Battle for America
A National Battle of the Bands Event

We are now seeking EVENT Co-Ordinators & Promoters

If you have ever wanted to promote musical events such as concerts or local music shows, this is your chance to learn the ropes and get paid to do it. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a desire to succeed.

We have now completed two annual events in Texas (The Battle for Texas - Houston Regionals). SEE BLOG on www.myspace.com/battleforamerica home page. We are about to roll out into other major Texas cities as well as expand nationwide for the 2010 event. We need co-ordinators to accomplish this. I will personally carry out Texas cities unless I find Co-Ordinators in the other cities such as Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, etc. I think you get the idea!

We need Co-Ordinators in every state to run the 1 Day events in their major home city and you have the option to take your local city event to every major city in your state. This is similar to a street team concept for a band, except you get paid for your efforts and are part of a national event. There are no fees for you to sign up as a co-ordinator and join the project.

I have all the tools (Registration & Waiver Forms, graphics, etc.) & experience you need to make your event work in your city. Both of our events in Houston were started and successfully completed in 30-45 days from the date of event conception. All you need is the will to take on the event and make some cash in the process. ie: If you find a venue for the event in your city by January 1st, your event should be completed by Jan 31st or mid Feb. at the latest. Then you can do it again later in the year or move to another city.

This is perfect for Recording Studio owners, Graphic Artists that work with bands, Music Store owners, full/part time musicians, entrepreneurs and even Club owners. It's a great way to network your business, studio or band and be part of a national event at the same time.

Your function as an Event Co-Ordinator for The Battle for America:

1) Secure Venue and Date of the event
2) Secure local sponsors (Recording Studios, Music Stores, Graphic Artists, etc)
3) Secure Bands to Compete (I'll show you how)
4) Promote the event locally along with competing bands
5) Secure 3 Event Judges (usually from the sponsors)
6) Host Event (emcee) and hand out local awards at completion of the days events.

If you live in Atlanta, for example, your event will be called:
The Battle for Georgia - Atlanta Regionals

Your event will have a MySpace page tied to this Battle for America page. If you own a recording studio, for example, you will have a banner such as mine: "TBR Studios Presents"

I think you get the idea. For more info on how to become an event co-ordinator, contact me by my studio phone, home phone or email below (or this page) anytime days or eves. Ask for "Luckee".

See you in the Battlefield!!!

Thanks,

Luckee

FUTURE Grammy STARS Produced by OCTANE-Records-Music.com!

SEATTLE, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Hear the difference at Octane Records with signed Recording Artists that now include the following New Artists: Aziel, Jailbird, HUD, Heath, Mr. Rakafela, Maggot Brain, and Octane featuring Shock G, Humpty Hump (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rakaoctane1), and Snoop Dogg (http://www.rogueisland.com). Produced By Brent DeRocher for Octane Records.

Most people will never forget Aziel for his chart-topping hit "Fall In Love Again." The day it hit KCCN FM 100, Hawaii's premier radio station, it immediately made its way onto the daily "Top 5 at 5," becoming the number-one most requested song for six weeks. Another hit followed - a remake of Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon In The Sky." Listeners couldn't get enough of Aziel's silky R&B voice. Aziel is currently seeking full radio rotation on all mainstream USA radio stations for his album "Take You Away" that features music-writing and production by multi-platinum legendary songwriter LeRoy Martez Bell, and music writer Linton Weems. With several hit songs and "GROUNDBREAKING" industry sound, this project commands a space within the R&B community.

Aziel Toeaina, born January 1, 1978 in San Francisco, California, is a musical genius who can switch from his R&B delivery to Hip Hop and Rap, unlike many artists on the market today. Aziel's critics say he may be as good as Usher and Justin Timberlake. Aziel also plans on being a Grammy Nominee and a Grammy Winner in the very near future.

Jailbird, born Jeffrey Sayer in 1978 in Olympia, Washington, is destined to be a rap superstar; the kind of superstar that understands a good hook, strong songwriting and the importance of a great performance. Jailbird's critics say he may be as good as Eminem. Jailbird is a Rap Artist that plans on being a Grammy Nominee.

HUD was born Anthony Hudson in Memphis, Tennessee in April of 1971. A Rap Artist who loves performing, HUD began entertaining in early 1986 at talent shows. His mother, who fell upon hard times while HUD was young, was a former background singer for the likes of B. B. King and other popular Memphis recording artists and is credited for introducing HUD to the profession of music.

Mr. Rakafela, born Alvin E. Kirton III in Oakland, California in July of 1973, was highly influenced in the early 1990s by the success of Tupac Shakur and Shock G from Digital Underground. Being deeply rooted in Tupac and Digital's cliques, Mr. Rakafela developed a Funk/Hip Hop mix which he displays in his latest masterpiece, "Tale of a New Legend" featuring Shock G, Humpty Hump, and Jailbird.

Seeking: Male & Female/Gospel & Rock Singers (Recording Only)

Hello Fellow Vocalists,

Blues Evolution is recording a second CD, and one of the tunes is a secular but gospel sounding song that is begging for the sound of a large choir. Well, we can’t pull that off, but we can try to simulate a choir by overdubbing a variety of voices singing each part. We would love your involvement.

Our most immediate need is for HIGH SOPRANO. THE HIGHEST NOTE IS HIGH G (an octave plus a 5th above middle C that sits on the space on Top of the treble clef. It is the last note possible that is still connected to the staff before you need ledger lines.) We need someone who can hit most of the notes clustered around High E with confidence, tone and of course accuracy. Finally we want it to have some soul and sound like church.

Although we have lately been focusing on locating a soprano voice, we really need voices in all ranges and with various styles. However, YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO a PROTOOLS compatible computerized home recording software system to participate on this recording.

PLEASE GIVE A LISTEN to our Mp3 DEMO of In The Name of the Father by clicking on the link to that song at our web page at the Indaba Music site:

I hope you will take a stab at it and join us. Unfortunately (considering the number of voices needed) THIS IS NOT A PAYING OPPORTUNITY.

I so look forward to hearing from you and all the best with your musical adventure.

Yes!
